Golden age
Golden age
Don’t accuse me
Of being lazy
Cause me, I’m training
For for the time when I won’t
Be working no more
I want to be ready
So I’m preparing
For that golden age
They call retirerment.
I’ve heard too many
Stories of folk
At the end of
Their working life
Who just don’t know
what to do with themselves
So don’t accuse me…
Retire and die
I surely don’t want to follow that line
My dear old dad, he told me often
Stop young and take your time.
So don’t accuse me…
I guess it’s OK
If you love what you do
But never loser sight
Of what life means to you.
And don’t accuse me…
