The time is coming

Ive been down and it took some time before

I realised how the situation

Could have left me, left me with a smile

Now I’m standing once again on solid groud

Maybe I should be thanking God

But nobody ever did teach me how to pray.

And I’m not sure that I even believe,

Or if I do that I have something to say

It’s not everyone that has the chance to know

The luck they have and how to see good in all

It’s harder to step out than to hide yourself in a crowd.

But the time is coming they’ll find they’ve nothing to complain about.

Lately I’ve been looking up above

Beyond dark days that drag.

To nights that bring me pleasure and an ever growing light.

The time is coming surely when I’ll be playing like a child once again.
