In 2005 I met Mat at the end of a barefoot solo gig at la cabine, in the chartreuse mountains.

 3 months later i took him in to the studio and we recorded “Mat with Iano – Mountain men” in an afternoon.

It was the third time we’d played together. MouNtain men came to be…
